Amazon offers TV Shows for 99 Cents to Own not to Rent

Amazon offers right now hit TV Shows for Fox and ABC for 99c per Episode. The same low price Apple is touting for rental, but Amazon actually lets you keep the show.

Amazon just launched a 99c TV Episodes at amazon video on demand. You can download TV Show episodes and own them for 99 cents from ABC and Fox. Apple announced yesterday also a 99 cent TV Show offering on iTunes, but that price only is for rental. PaidContent reports that Amazon is selling these shows at a loss. Amazon does not have the deals in place yet with studios that would make this a viable business offering. Nobody knows how long Amazon will offer these bargain TV Show downloads. Better be quick.
