Garmin Adds nuLink! 1695 PND to line

Garmin has added a new PND to its offerings today called the nuLink! 1965. The device comes with a year of free nuLink! Services and offers access to the nuLink! Store so the user can buy additional optional premium services. The 1965 has a big touchscreen display measuring 5-inches.

Other features of the device include a comprehensive POI database with local search functionality via Google, and nuRoute historical route navigation. Other nuLink services the device supports include local event information and movie listing.

The GPS device also has the ability to use historic traffic data when planning your route so you spend less time in traffic. Bluetooth allows the driver to use the 1965 as a hands free system for calls and it comes with maps already loaded for North America. The device will launch in the US in September for $449.99. The nuLink! Service after the first year is $5 per month.
