Samsung Fascinate: Google Search With Android 2.2

When the Samsung Fascinate hit earlier this week, our notice on that fact carried a warning. Verizon's agreement with Microsoft means that Bing is the standard, default search engine for this phone. And you cannot change it. As of right now, the Google Search widget does not even work on the Fascinate.

Thankfully, BGR reports that the Samsung Fascinate will be able to install the Google Search widget once Android 2.2 hits. Bing will still not be changeable as the default search engine. This isn't much, but at least it's a better state-of-affairs than currently exists. What say you, Fascinate owners? Does Bing do the job well, or are you already missing Google?
