Sony is launching the Playstation Move already today in Germany. The United States release for the Sony Playstation Move is September 17th. Germany seems to be the first country to get the Playstation Move. In other European countries like the UK the Move is also shipping on Friday.
Japanese PS3 fans have to even wait until October to get Playstation Move. Is there are market for selling US video game releases into Japan? Usually US and European gamers import Japanese video game releases as they get them first from Play-Asia and other shops.
In Germany the Playstation Move starter pack sells for 56.49 Euros on Amazon.de. A Playstation Move 320GB Sony PS3 console bundle is also on sale on Amazon.de for 349.95 Euro.
In the US you can pre-order the Playstation Move accessories and PS3 bundles on Amazon.
Sony has a bit of a first mover advantage, as the Microsoft Kinect controller free system is launching almost two month later on November 4th. My prediction is though that Kinect wil drive more new gamers to the Xbox 360 than Move does to the PS3. I see excisting PS3 owners upgrade to Move, but from the outside the complete controller free gaming offered by Kinect is more tempting.
