Altec Lansing has announced a new set of earphones that are aimed at the audiophile grade listener who likes to use an iPhone or iPod. The earphones are called the Muzx Ultra MZX606. The in-ear earphones ship with an 8-piece fitment kit and a carry case.
The earphones have balanced armature tech for high audio clarity. Altec Lansing claims that the earphones deliver the music you are listening too just as it was recorded. The drivers inside the earphones are 10mm Neodymium units.
The earphones can block 26dB of outside sound, making these good for use on a bus, train, or airliner. The cable is 46-inches long and they use a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other features include a mic and a remote for controlling an iPod of iPhone. The MZX606 earphones will ship next month for $99.99.
