Pynk makes printed photo frames easy

Kodak has had branded kiosks for printing digital photos in all sorts of stores around the country for years now. You can walk into most Walmarts, Targets, and many grocery stores and pharmacies and find its kiosks for printing out your digital pictures. Kodak has announced a new and very cool way to use the kiosks called Pynk.

The system works in a really cool way. You go and pick out a Kodak frame that you like that is Pynk compatible. You then take your photos and the frame to the Pynk kiosk. The frame has a bar code on it that is scanned and then the user uploads the photos they want to use.

The Pynk smart kiosk then sizes the photos and crops them perfectly to fit the frame even if it has strange sizes and shapes. Before the Pynk system you had to print individual photos, cut, and tape them to get a collage frame together. Pricing is unknown; I hope the frames aren’t overpriced.
