The Sony PS3 will get 3D Blu-ray support tomorrow with the release of firmware 3.50. While support for Blu-ray 3D discs is the primary new feature within the 3.50 update, there are more enhancements. Sony said to reveal these today.
The only thing Sony has reminded us so far is that the PlayStation Network is going down for scheduled maintenance tomorrow. Maintenance is expected to start at just after 8 am Pacific and will last for several hours, until approximately 5 pm Pacific.
In case you still need 3D Blu-ray movies, you can buy for instance Monster House or Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
