The sequel to the very successful Sony PS3 game LittleBigPlanet is delayed. Media Molecule announced that the release of LittleBigPlanet 2 is now on January 18th 2011. This means LBP2 misses the crucial Holiday shopping season. LittleBigPlanet 2 was scheduled to be released on November 16th. Media Molecule says that they are not completely done yet and that they want to make sure that LPG2 will offer the best experience imaginable.
LittleBigPlanet 2 is though already available for pre-order on Amazon.
I am not sure if this helps LittleBigPlanet fans to get over this delay or makes things even worse, but the Sony Playstation blog published several new LBP2 beta game videos. LBP2 is in online beta in the UK and some gamers already made some awesome games with LBP2. How about Street Fighter in Little Big Planet? Watch the video below.
