Apple's patent filings are probably the most watched. PatentlyApple discovered a couple of interesting patent filings from last week that show several iPad features. One iPad design allows users to dock the iPad also in landscape. Another design shows off a smart bezel. What the smart bezel is doing is unclear. The patent filings are from China and only show schematics without description. The iPad smart bezel could be used for short cuts of some kind. With patents you never know when or if the company is implementing the described feature anyway.
The Smart Bezel schematic of the iPad also shows a tiny hole on to top that some believe is a camera hole, but it also could be just a light sensor.
As reported yesterday a new 7-inch iPad with camera is supposed to already be finished and ready to ship.
