Gateway has outted a new notebook computer that has WiMax inside called the Gateway NV59C66u. The new notebook is part of the NV series and lets the user connect to a 4G network if they live in a city that has support. The WiMax card the machine uses is an Intel 6250 that connects to both WiMax and WiFi networks.
The notebook also has a two-tone chassis for style and a metal chassis and palm rest. There are a lot of hardware options and configurations to cover different price points. The machine can be has with Core i3 and i5 CPUs or AMD Athlon and Turion processors.
Up to 8GB of RAM is supported by the notebook and storage is up to 500GB. The notebook supports 802.11n WiFi. NV series machines come in 17.1-inch and 15.6-inch screen sizes. The Gateway NV59C66u starts at $699.99 with WiMax support and can be ordered right now.
