WiFi battery issue: fixed.

The baddest phone on the market now has a new update. BGR reports that Sprint has just posted up patch notes for the Epic's first update. This patch will fix the WiFi standby battery issue that has plagued the phone since launch.

In addition, it allows Amazon MP3 downloads in 4G and increases 3G upload speeds. Users will be prompted to install the system update at some point in the next few days. The download will take seven to eight minutes, and the installation will take the same period.
