A new portable game console is about to be released from Panasonic called Jungle. As far as we know Jungle features a screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. Gizmodo has a live shot of the Jungle console and says that Panasonic is aiming the device at online gamers especially multi-player online role-playing games.
The details are still very sparse, but according to Gizmodo the Jungle is supposed to house an impressive HD screen inside its clam-shell housing. It could be running a Linux OS and has Wifi connectivity. If 3G is also an option is not clear. All gadgets go touchscreen these days. It is a bold move from Panasonic to unleash a new device with a QWERTY keyboard. We will see how that goes. Will it become the "communicator" of the WoW generation or end up in the museum of failed consoles.
The image above is from a teaser video on the new still very cryptic The Jungle website.
