Apple rumored to Release iPhone jumbo and an iPhone nano in 2011

Kaufman Bros. analyst Shaw Wu issued a report according to AppleInsider that says that Apple is working on iPhone models with larger and smaller touchscreens. Apple could launch these new iPhone sizes in 2011. Three years ago when the original iPhone launched rumors about an iPhone nano with a tiny form factor appeared. Now that Apple has brought touch to the new iPod nano and iPhone nano seems feasible.

Several Android phones offer larger screens than the iPhone 4 has including the Evo 4G. The iPhone 4 has a 3.5-inch screen and the Evo 4G has a 4.3-inch screen. An iPhone jumbo could have the same screen-size as the Evo 4G. If Apple is releasing a basic iPhone in the form factor of an iPod nano is less likely. It sounds exciting, but I am not sure if we really want one as voice is not necessarily the major use on an iPhone. Most iPhone users surf the web and use apps.
