Yesterday the Logitech Revue Google TV box was officially unveiled. Now Google also launched the full Google TV site with tons of information about Google TV and colorful feature walk-through animations. The site has a Google untypical design with black background and fades.
The Google TV Quick tour gives you a nice overview of the major features of Google TV. It explains for instance that the DVR functionality is only available through a connected Dish Network DVR and that you can use Android and iPhones as remote controls. Other feature highlights of Google TV include seamless search across TV and web, web browser, apps, Netflix streaming, Youtube and surf the web while watching TV.
Explore the Google TV site here.
The Google TV site definitely helps rectify spending $300 for a Logitech Revue box.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
