Yesterday we reported that the Motorola Olympus had been spotted getting a WiFi and Bluetooth certification. Now Android and Me reports that a confidential source has informed them that AT&T has made some sort of deal with Moto and will be the first carrier to launch the Olympus.

This will make AT&T the first carrier to pack a dual-core Android smartphone with the Gingerbread OS. It would be a huge reversal for the carrier, which has traditionally lagged behind T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint when it comes to Android adoption. The Olympus is expected to reach testers in November.
