To me, the flip phone is one of the most boring and unattractive of all mobile phone form factors. I rarely see a flip phone that I think looks cool, but one from iida has turned up today that is very cool.
The phone is called the X-Ray and it comes in red, black, and blue translucent cases that you can see through. The see-through design of the phone case means that the hardware inside the phone is on display and it looks cool. When closed the phone has a thin 7 x 102 dot display that shows time and caller id info.
The main screen is a 3-inch unit and the phone has an 8MP camera as well. The phone measures in at 49 x 110 x 15.7mm and weighs 123g. The device lasts 270 hours on standby and has 210 minutes of call time per charge. The camera can also record video. Pricing and availability are unknown.
