No service can survive without content

Google TV may be doomed. That's the impression one gets from reading this Reuters article. Three huge broadcasters (Walt Disney Co, NBC Universal and News Corp) are considering or have moved to block access to their websites on Google TV.

Walt Disney Co and NBC Universal reps have confirmed that they are blocking access, and Fox is still considering the matter. CBS has blocked full-time episode access. The same workaround that allows you to use Hulu on Google TV may also work with these sites. If you're a GTV user and you can check this out, please let us know.
