There are two different gadgets that you can find in many cars cruising the roads today. Those gadgets are GPS devices and radar detectors. Escort has been making radar detectors for years now and the company has unveiled what it claims to be the world's first fully integrated driving accessory.
The device is called the Passport iQ and it mixes a standard GPS device with turn-by-turn directions and moving map display with a radar detector. The device has a big 5-inch touchscreen and lots of other cool features.
The iQ provides drivers with speed limit details for the road, their speed, and their heading in detector mode. It also has a full database of red light cameras and speed cameras as well as speed trap locations. The radar detector also works when in GPS mode. The iQ is available now for $649.95 and is compatible with Escort radar detector accessories.
