Fake images of the Apple Tablet that are floating around in the web are even used by TV stations to report about the upcoming apple Tablet. There are just no real photos of the new mystery Apple product. Some have already mocked the Apple Tablet as a giant iPhone and they might not be wrong actually.
Apple Insider got people familiar with the Apple Tablet to spill some beans about its looks.
The Apple Tablet would have the same buttons as the iPhone including the signature home button. The feeling holding it is similar to the first generation iPhone.
Of course the Apple Tablet would feature an aluminum unibody design and will have a very thin appearance. The report reiterates a 10-inch screen size.
On a side note, Apple Insider links in the above mentioned report to their first story back in 2007 about an Apple Slate or Tablet.
I found a report on I4U News from 2002 that is about a rumor of an Apple PDA dubbed iWalk. The PDA or Tablet product category was an on and off project at Apple. They failed in the very beginning with the Newton. Since then, I guess, an Apple PDA or Tablet needs to be guaranteed success to be released.
