Canon Europe has announced a new flagship projector in its XEED line up called the WUX4000. The projector is aimed at the pro install market and has some very nice features with full HD capability and a native resolution of 1920 x 1200.
The projector has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, motorized lens shift, zoom, and focus, plus three lens options. The lens options allow the projector to be fine-tuned for the specific install. The projector has both DVI and HDMI inputs and a network port that is PJLink compatible.
The projector has 4000 lumens of brightness making it very bright. Canon will ship the projector in Europe in April 2011 at an undisclosed price. This won’t be cheap though.
