For real. Toys 'Backwards R' Us is now selling the Elonex eTouch android tablet. Pocket Lint reports that this new slate is now the cheapest tablet on the market. It costs just £89.99 for a 7" version and £149.99 for the 10" version. Both devices will be stocked next to the "must have" Holiday buys.
The 10" version has a 2 GB SSD and a microSD slot with a 2 GB card. It runs Android 2.1 and uses an ARM 11 1 GHz processor. There is a USB 2.0 and a mini USB slot, plus a 3.5" audio port. It does have marketplace support and the design appears to have been lifted wholesale from the iPad.

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.
The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
