The HTC Wildfire launched in Europe and Asia a while back. Now HTC has announced that the Wildfire is coming to the United States in Q4 of this year (via MobileBurn). "American regional carriers" were specified, which means we should see this thing hit more than one.
The Wildfire packs a 5 MP camera and a 523 MHz processor with b/g WiFi and aGPS. It has Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. The display is 3.2" and the RAM sits at 384 MB. There's nothing too impressive here, but the Wildfire is definitely a solid entry-level smartphone. That's a market every Android manufacturer wants to push as we gear up for the end of AT&T iPhone exclusivity.
