The Samsung Epic 4G from Sprint is Samsung Mobile's first 4G Android powered smartphone. The Epic 4G got launched in August on Sprint. The Amazon Wireless Store offers the Samsung Epic 4G for only $149.99 with new contract. The price for the Epic 4G on Sprint is $249.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The Sprint Epic 4G is the first US 4G phone with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Other features of the Android 2.2 powered Epic 4G include 4-inch Super AMOLED display, Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, 5 MP camera/camcorder with autofocus, Power LED flash and 3x digital zoom for HD video, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 1500 mAh battery, front facing VGA camera, 6-axis accelerometer and DLNA.
