The myTouch 3G and the HTC Hero both had somewhat awkward launches. They were released right before a whole new generation of smartphones with much faster processors and much more RAM launched. Today, though, TMoNews has photos of the newly revamped myTouch v1.2.

These updated smartphones are basically just un-branded Fender Edition myTouchs. They all sport 3.5 mm headphone jacks and have (most likely) also had their RAM increased to 288 MB. While there's nothing earth-shattering about this revamp, it does make the myTouch into a much more useful device.
