It also might have 1 GB of RAM.
RIM's next smartphone may be a step forward in terms of connectivity. BBLeaks reports that the Storm 3 will the first ever 4G BlackBerry. No word on whether that 4G is LTE, WiMAX or HSPA+, but the smart money is probably on Verizon LTE.
In terms of specs, the Storm 3 is believed to have a 5 or 8 MP camera with a dual-LED flash. We're looking at 8 to 16 GB of storage, plus a microSD slot. It will have either 512 MB or (gasp!) 1 GB of RAM. 1 GB of ROM is also expected, along with a 3.7" AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.
As pretty as all that sounds, RIM is very capable mucking up a pretty smartphone and great hardware with a buggy and unimpressive overall package. Remember their first touchscreen debacle? I'll believe in the Storm 3's potential when I see and touch it.
