Creative is a name most associated with sound cards for me, but over the last years the company has branched off into a lot more than computer hardware. In London today Creative has pulled the wraps off two new tablets in the Ziio line with 7-inch and 10-inch screens.
The two tablets have many of the same features with a ZiiLabs ZMS-08 processor, Android 2.1 OS, Android Pure Audio technology, Bluetooth 2.1 EDR, WiFi, HD output, an accelerometer, and a microSD card port.
The tablets also have support for tons of audio formats, a miniUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The 7-inch version has a resistive touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800. The 10-inch screen tablet has a 1024 x 768 resolution. Both are set to hit in December.
