Walmart Black Friday PS3 Move Bundle Deal Details

Buy Sony Playstation Move from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Walmart announced yesterday their first early Black Friday electronics sales event starting Nov. 6 at 8am in stores. Walmart is marketing these deals as in-store deals, but on the banner graphics there is a reference to online sales times. Additionally the announced TV deals are marked to be also available online. My interpretation of this is that at least the TVs will also be available online on Walmart.com on Saturday.

The early Walmart Black Friday sales event has several hot items that we are analyzing for you in details. We already analyzed the $288 Compaq laptop deal in detail and all five TV deals Walmart is going to offer in this early Walmart Black Friday Electronics sales. Now we look at a deal for video game fans. Walmart will offer on Saturday the 320GB Sony PS3 Move Bundle for $399 and you get a bonus $50 eGift Card. This is the only Playstation Move console bundle released by Sony so far.

The 320GB PS3 Move bundle consists of:

  • PS3 320GB system
  • DualShock 3 wireless controller
  • PlayStation Move motion controller
  • PlayStation Eye camera
  • Sports Champions Blu-ray game
  • PlayStation Move game demos disc
  • AC power cord, AV cable, USB cable

Right now I have not seen any other sales promotion on this bundle. It is possible that Amazon will match this deal this week like they did with Walmart deals last year. The battle between Playstation Move and Microsoft Kinect will start on November 4th. Kinect seems to be set to beat Move, but we will not know that until the end of the year. I expect more deals from both platforms as the we move closer to the actual Black Friday. The Walmart Sony PS3 Move bundle deal is good, but not exceptional. I am pretty sure we will see better deals on the PS3 Move Bundle.

More details about the PS3 Black Friday offer can be found on this page on Walmart.com.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
