Amazon buys another successful online retailer. Last year they bought Zappos and now according to Fortune they are assimilating Diapers.com. Diapers.com is owned by Quidsi, which Amazon is said to pick up for $540 million.
Quidsi runs Diapers.com and Soap.com. They figured out how to make a business selling commodity products via the internet. According to Fortune they have a similar software algorithm based approach to doing business like Amazon.
Once you figured out how to make money and still offer competitive prices on stuff like diapers you are all set. The demand for diapers never ends.
