$399.99 HP G62-364DX Best Buy Black Friday Laptop Deal analyzed

Best Buy unveiled earlier today the new early Black Friday deals for tomorrow Friday Nov. 12. One of the featured early Black Friday deals is again a Laptop. The HP G62-364DX will be on sale for $399.99. This time it is laptop with decent performance based on the AMD Vision Premium platform (AMD Turion II Dual-Core CPU). The AMD Turion II is not new and its performance is in the region of lower-end Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs. The performance offered by this CPU is though sufficient for many users.

The features of the HP G62-364DX include AMD Turion II P540 CPU with 2.4Ghz, 3GB DD3 RAM (up to 8GB), 320GB HDD, 15.6-inch LED LCD Display, Double-layer DVD±RW/CD-RW drive, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 GPU, 6-cell battery, Wi-Fi 802.11N, webcam and Windows 7 Home Premium.

Searching for Turion II based comparable laptops the best prices I could find have been above $500. This new Best Buy Black Friday laptop is at $399.99 a steal. You do not get the performance the latest generation of mid-range laptops offer, but it this laptop can be used for almost everything including playing games and watching HD media.

Of course a 500GB HDD and 4GB RAM would have made this laptop even more desirable for this price. Still, I predict this laptop deal will sell out extremely quickly tomorrow at Best Buy stores and online. There is only a minimum of 2 per store. And you only are allowed to buy one.
