The Best Black Friday TV Deal is a 3D TV

Buy Panasonic TC-P50GT25 from Amazon Cyber Monday and Black Friday Now

Black Friday is here. We have analyzed all Black Friday Ads and the newly announced online Black Friday and Thanksgiving sales. We already awarded two TVs deals the Most Dramatic Black Friday 2010 TV award. The $198 32-inch Emerson HDTV in the Walmart Black Friday sale and the $298 40-inch Westinghouse 1080p HDTV available in the Target Black Friday Sale earn this award because of the dramatically low prices. Are these two the best Black Friday TV deal? No. What you actually want is to maximize the performance and price ratio. You wan the biggest bang for the buck. We have struggled a while with the decision, but the 3D TV deals that are offered right now are just amazing. With all the caveats of 3D TV technology and the lack of content, these deals are what Black Friday is all about.

On top of heavily discounted 3D TV models you get depending on the make a free 3D Blu-ray player and 3D Starter Kit. With Sony 3D TVs you get a 160GB Sony PS3 instead of a Blu-ray player. Two days ago Dell offered a $350 Gift card on top of the usual freebies.

I am a Plasma fan and Consumer Reports identified Plasma as the currently better 3D Display technology. That is why the Panasonic 50-inch TC-P50GT25 is the Best Black Friday 2010 TV Deal.
On Amazon the Panasonic TC-P50GT25 sells for $1,789 (list: $2,099.95) and you get a free Panasonic DMP-BT100 3D Blu-ray player and the Panasonic Starter Kit containing two pairs of glasses and two 3D Blu-ray movies. Avatar 3D is also supposed to come to Panasonic 3D TV owners exclusively this December.

Amazon offers also the other 3D TV bundle deals.

The quality of Black Friday deals is generally much better than last year. As usual with Black Friday many hot new items are missing from the deal line-ups. There are no Kinect and no Sony Playstation Move deals. What you get though is 3D TV Black Friday Deals. Many Black Friday sales will already launch online on Thanksgiving Day. Good luck in getting your hands on the hottest deals.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
