Cyber Week: Find the Best Cyber Deals

Nation Retail Federation conducted Cyber Monday Survey

When you visit an online shop today or tomorrow you will with a very high probability see a Cyber Monday sales promotion. The Cyber Monday survey conducted for Shop.org by BIGresearch says that nearly nine in ten (88.2%) retailers will have a special promotion for Cyber Monday, growing each year since 2007, when 72.2 percent planned promotions.

For retailers it makes perfect sense to offer a Cyber Monday Sale because an estimated 106.9 million Americans plan to shop Cyber Monday, which is significantly up from the estimated 96.5 million last year says shop.org.

Shop.org mentioned above is the organization that came up with Cyber Monday 5 years ago. Cyber Monday, a term coined by Shop.org in 2005, began after retailers noticed a trend of people shopping online on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Today, Cyber Monday is viewed as the ceremonial kickoff to the online holiday shopping season, when shoppers flood websites expecting robust promotions and many retailers highlight some of their most compelling holiday offers.

The major Cyber Monday 2010 sales have already launched on Sunday. Find the best Cyber Monday Sales.
