Now all major car brands besides Porsche are advertising during the Super Bowl 2011. We already reported that BMW is back after a four year break. Audi and Volkswagen are continuing their Super Bowl participation.
Now Mercedes-Benz will for the first time ever advertise during the Super Bowl XLV on February 6th 2011. BrandWeek reports that Mercedes has purchased a 60 second spot that will run in the fourth quarter. Mercedes is celebrating its 125th anniversary next year. Reason enough to blow a couple million (estimated $6 million) on a Super Bowl ad.
There will be tons of car ads at the Super Bowl 2011. GM will be back after its financial melt down joining Hyundai, Kia and the German car makers mentioned above.
For the complete list of Super Bowl 2011 ads refer to our Super Bowl 2011 Ads Guide.
Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
