Dell Cuts Adamo 13 Price Significantly

The first time I saw the Dell Adamo notebook computer I really liked the little thin notebook. The thing I didn’t like about the rig was the price though at $999 starting out it didn't have hardware inside that was that great, it was a bit expensive. Dell has now announced that it is cutting the price of the machine significantly.

The starting price for the rig is now going to be $899. That's already $100 less than the starting price the machine used to carry and it gets updated hardware too. The machine will get the previously optional 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SL9600, 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD. The machine using that processor previously sold for $1099.

The new $899 price makes the Adamo 13 much cheaper than the 13-inch MacBook Air that starts at $1,299. The machine has the same 13.4-inch screen, 6-cell battery, and an optional 3G modem.
