The U1 Hybrid wasn't the only star at Lenovo's booth. There was also an odd little Wintel tablet, a prototype for a product yet to be settled on. This 10.1" tablet runs Windows 7 and has a multitouch screen with a 1280x800 resolution.
The Wintel tablet was extremely responsive in doodling mode and web browsing mode, but the desktop was a little sluggish. Both pen and finger input worked well. The slate can handle full 1080p video and should have a 5-6 hour "browsing" battery life when it launches. Here's the video:
