Celebrities are a popular choice for Super Bowl ads. According to USA Today Skechers will announce today that Kim Kardashian will star in the Skechers Super Bowl 2011 commercial. According to tweets from Kim Kardashian the Skechers Super Bowl Ad is going to promote the Skechers Shape-ups shoes. The photo above is apparently from the set. Kim Kardashian said to USA Today that the Skechers ad is very provocative.
Is Skechers going to compete with Go Daddy to have the most provocative Super Bowl 2011 commercial? As reported Go Daddy will run two Super Bowl Ads this year featuring Danica Patrick and for the first time Jillian Michaels.
Skechers revealed to USA Today that the Super Bowl ad will show Kim Kardashian involved in a breakup as she trains with the Shape-ups. Will see how provocative that story line can be staged. Kim Kardashian also blogged about her Skechers Super Bowl Ad here. The storyline of the ad is supposed to be "so fun". I hope she is right on this one.
Update:

Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
