Today two more Super Bowl advertisers made their Super Bowl ad plans official. Kim Kardashian will be selling shoes in the Skechers Super Bowl ad and Faith Hill gives Valentine's Day advice to a geek in the Teleflora Super Bowl ad.
We track all official and rumored Super Bowl commercials in our Super Bowl Ads 2011 Guide. There are still a lot of unknowns, which lets a lot of room for rumors and speculations. One hot rumor is that the Ted Williams, the homeless guy with the Golden Voice of Youtube fame, got a Super Bowl ad offer according to the NY Post. He would appear for an unnamed advertiser for 5 seconds.
BrandWeek has compiled a nice feature about the backgrounds of the 10 finalists in the Doritos and Pepsi Max Crash the Super Bowl contest. Turns out many of them has some professional background in the creative industry. The price money and exposure is so high that the ad contest is not just attracting amateurs.
Today we also reported that Groupon bought Super Bowl pre-game ad spots. Apparently they have been to late to get some of the $3m in-game Super Bowl ad slots.
