Movie studios are using Super Bowl to promote their Summer blockbuster movies. In past years movie studios kept rather mum about which movie trailers will air during Super Bowl. This year we already know about one. Director Jon Favreau (Iron Man) tweeted (via ComingSoon) that the Cowboys & Aliens trailer will air during Super Bowl 2011.
Update:
The Cowboys & Aliens Super Bowl Movie Trailer has been released.
Cowboys & Aliens promises to be one of the biggest blockbuster this summer starring Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in a Western and Alien-Invasion cross-over movie.
In short a small New Mexico town called Absolution is attacked by Aliens from the sky in 1875. You can imagine how that unfolds no? More details about Cowboys & Aliens can be found on the official site. You can watch the current trailer for Cowboys & Aliens below. The Super Bowl XLV trailer will be different.
Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game. The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on February 6th 2011.
