I thought I had a cool job, but these guys that get to spend their days playing with Lego really have it good. This gigantic Millennium Falcon is being built for gobs of bricks for the Star Wars area at the Legoland theme park.
I wonder how much loot the park had to cough up to get George Lucas to sign off on this. The entire ship is made from Lego bricks. I bet these guys don’t have to start fights to get the last set of wheels, look at all of those bins of bricks.
The Star Wars area will have 2,000 Lego models that take visitors through the scenes from the film saga. The new exhibit will launch on March 31 and will be part of the Miniland park. Apparently, the creations in the exhibit have required 1.5 million bricks. Life-size models of characters from the films have been made too.
