We have seen leaked BlackBerry Storm 3 photos before. Now BGR has published the full specifications of the next BlackBerry touchscreen phone.
The new Storm 3 is a pretty high powered smartphone and it better be as it competes with tons of Android phones and the iPhone. Features of the BlackBerry Storm 3 include 1.2Ghz CPU, 3.7-inch 800x480px screen, Quad-band GSM, Tri-Band UMTS, 5MP Camera with 720p HD video recording, 8GB eMMC storage for apps and data, 512MB RAM, microSD card slot, magnetometer, 3G Mobile Hotspot, optical trackpad (why? touchscreen not enough?) and BlackBerry OS 6.1.
The BlackBerry Storm 3 is supposed to be launched in September. What is missing in the feature set is NFC. NFC is supposed to be in the upcoming Dakota, Curve and Torch 2.
As reported earlier, BGR also published details of the unannounced BlackBerry Dakota, new BlackBerry Curve Apollo and the BlackBerry Torch 2.
