$99.99 HTC Evo 4G is Bestseller on Amazon Wireless

HTC Evo 4G bestseller

The Sprint 4G phone HTC Evo 4G is on sale for only $99.99 since last week and this deal makes this 4G phone the bestseller on the Amazon Wireless Store. When you buy the HTC Evo 4G on Sprint you would need to deal with a $100 mail-in rebate to get the $199.99 price (requires 2-year contract), making the Amazon HTC Evo 4G a really great deal.

It is still a bit mindboggling that a 4G phone is the bestseller on the Amazon Wireless store. 4G coverage is still rather limited. The answer I think lies in the nature of the Amazon Wireless customers. Buying a phone online is still not the mainstream choice. Early adopters though buy their phones online as the savings are dramatic and worth while to deai with the technicalities of ordering a phone online.

Even if you do not get 4G coverage where you live the HTC Evo 4G (see our hands-on review) is still one of the hottest Android smartphones available. Huge 4.3-inch OLED screen, fast 1GHz Snapdragon Processor and 2 cameras. Just make sure to turn off 4G when you do not need it to keep the battery life reasonable.

The HTC Evo 4G is favored over the Samsung Epic 4G that also is on sale for $99.99, but is only the 5th bestselling phone on Amazon Wireless.

Amazon Wireless is also offering the new HTC Evo Shift 4G, but it is backordered. The HTC Evo Shift has a sales price of $119.99 on Amazon Wireless.
