The iPad Kick is compatible with the iPad with or without 3G inside. The big feature of the case is the pair of kickstands on the back to prop the tablet up for watching video and more. The case comes in several colors and is made from hard plastic. You can get the case now for $34.
The iPad Kick I was sent is the Peacock Blue color and it is very nice looking. It a darker blue color that I would call navy. The finish is very attractive and feels soft to the touch. The case is made in two pieces and the upper ¾ of the case separate from the lower quarter of the case to slide the iPad inside.
The case has cutouts that leave the controls of the iPad uncovered along with the charge and sync port. On the rear of the case is a circular cutout that leaves the Apple logo exposed. On the right side of the back of the case are the main features, which are a pair of kickstands. The stands are about an inch long each and when you put them down they hold the screen of the iPad up at an angle for easier typing using the on screen keyboard and more comfort watching video.
The kickstands are a bit short; I would like to see the screen propped up at a better angle. I also had a hard time getting the kickstands down on a few occasions. If you have longer fingernails, it might not be a problem for you. I had to pick and pry at them to open them up at times.
The case fits the iPad well and the slide on design might interfere with some screen protection films. I have Zagg invisibleShield film on my iPad and the case went on without any issues. I have had peeling issues with some films using slide on cases though so keep that in mind as you put your iPad into the iPad Kick case.
Other than the issue with the kickstands being hard to open, the case worked very well. If you only want a small amount of angle when you type or watch video on your iPad the iPad Kick case might be perfect for you.
