Panasonic has been pedaling the Lumix line of digital cameras for years now. The company has announced today that a new addition to the line has debuted. The new camera is the TS3 and it is the successor to the TS2 that was previously offered. The new cam has a 3D mode that takes 20 pics in a burst and then overlaps two to make a 3D image for viewing on a 3D TV.
The camera is rugged with a case that is waterproof to 40-feet, shockproof to falls from about 6.6 feet, and can survive cold to -10C. The camera has a 28mm wide-angle lens, 4.6x optical zoom, and a LED light for shooting in the dark.
The sensor is a 12.1MP unit and the camera can record 1080p resolution HD video. The rear LCD is a 2.7-inch unit and the camera has Dolby digital Creator for better audio quality. The camera will ship in March at an undisclosed price.
