Keeping your Apple gear and other USB charging gadgets all juiced up as you drive is easy enough to do with a DC adapter that turns the power your car makes into the power you need to charge USB gear. A company called iKit has just announced that it has a new charging solution that is now available.
The kit is called the AutoCharge + USB and it is designed to charge any USB gadget while on the road, but ships with a coiled charge cable for the iPhone or iPad. The adapter offers 2.1 amps so it can charge the iPad. Not all chargers of the sort can do that.
The charge kit is available right now for $24.95 directly from the iKit website. You can use charge cables for other devices with the DC adapter as well.
