Chrysler Super Bowl Commercial promotes Chrysler 200 with Eminem

Chrysler is set to land a big splash with their Super Bowl 2011 commercial on Sunday. As reported yesterday, Chrysler will air an unprecedented 2 minute long Super Bowl commercialthat will likely have an appearance of rapper Eminem in it. The Detroit Free Press has just released a report that Chrysler will promote the new 2011 Chrysler 200 in their epic Super Bowl commercial.
Update:
Watch the Chrysler Super Bowl Commercial 2011 now. It is 2 minutes long, but awesome.

The Chrysler 200 is a mid-sized car and Chrysler wants to position it as a luxury choice. Chrysler most likely tries to connect Detroit and Eminem to establish an image of being real and close to the roots.

It is very risky to run a 2 minute commercial. The ad needs to keep the audience captivated for a very long time. The Chrysler Super Bowl commercial needs to draw viewers in and keep them watching. If it is at any point boring the Super Bowl viewers will snap out of it and go get a beer - $12 million wasted.

Chrysler is right now running a Super Bowl social media campaign dubbed Blogger Game On Road Trip, where you can win $10,000 in prices. See also other hot Super Bowl Contests.

About the Geek Mind

The “geek mind” is concerned with more than just the latest iPhone rumors, or which company will win the gaming console wars. I4U is concerned with more than just the latest photo shoot or other celebrity gossip.

The “geek mind” is concerned with life, in all its different forms and facets. The geek mind wants to know about societal and financial issues, both abroad and at home. If a Fortune 500 decides to raise their minimum wage, or any high priority news, the geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants to know the top teams in the National Football League, or who’s likely to win the NBA Finals this coming year. The geek mind wants to know who the hottest new models are, or whether the newest blockbuster movie is worth seeing. The geek mind wants to know. The geek mind wants—needs—knowledge.
