The new iPad newspaper The Daily will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial today. The Daily has tweeted that The Daily will be the first app to be featured in a Super Bowl ad. AllThingsD has reported about The Daily Super Bowl commercial first. Now with the tweet it is not a rumor anymore, but fact.
Indirectly the Apple iPad will now be featured in a Super Bowl commercial today and can counter a bit the Motorola Xoom Super Bowl Commercial. The Motorola Xoom Android Tablet Super Bowl ad directly attacks the iPad.
There are no details yet about the The Daily Super Bowl commercial. Maybe it will be in tune with Apple ads, but it could also be totally different. The Daily needs some advertising as the first iPad newspaper has some usability issues according to Daring Fireball.
Just like last year, I4U News will be featuring again the Super Bowl for Geeks Guide. Of course the Super Bowl 2011 for Geeks Guide will be all about the Super Bowl Commercials and not the big game.

The Super Bowl XLV will take place in the Dallas Cowboys stadium on Sunday, Feb. 6th 2011.
