Best Buy has announced that it is extending the Buy Back Program that it operates to give shoppers a clear upgrade path for their smartphone purchases. The program has been extended to run through February 26 in all Best Buy stores.
During the special buyers will get free Buy Back Program at no cost with buying tablets like the iPad and other devices. The program allows the user to get 50% of the price they paid back when they trade the device in for an upgrade as long as the device is working and in good condition.
The rebates are based on the retail cost of the phone prior to any carrier rebates. If you buy a Nexus S and then upgrade, the customer would be able to get $265 back on the device.
