Quirky Mantis Task Light Debuts

I really like most of the quirky products we see from appropriately named Quirky. The latest product to land from Quirky is the sweet Mantis task light that is designed to clip onto your monitor or notebook computer. The task light has LEDs and runs off battery power.

The thing is bright with 11 LEDs onboard and it has a pair of flip out legs that let it stand on the desk. It also has non-slip feet to keep it from moving around. Power comes from a pair of AA batteries good for 30 hours of light.

The device will shut off automatically after two hours of use. It measures 9.1" x 1" x 1" and sells for $26.99. You can pre-order right now and 1500 have to sell before it goes into production. So far, 73 have sold.
