Subaru and Kicker have announced that they have teamed up to get some high performance audio into the Impreza line. Kicker offers OE upgrades for the Impreza line going all the way back to 2008 and up to new 2011 models.
The upgraded speakers are made to fit into the trunks of vehicles including the WRX and 5-door WRX as well. The audio system upgrade has a 10-inch subwoofer with an integrated 100W amp that is designed to take up little space in the trunk.
The sub is matched to the enclosure for ideal performance and the amp plugs right into the existing audio system making it a plug and play installation with no cutting at all. The speaker can be installed in new vehicles at the dealer as well. Pricing is unannounced.
