Booq has some really cool items for the original iPad and I have used some of them. The company tends to make accessories that are well built, even if they are a bit costly. With the iPad 2 beige unveiled this week the rush to get new accessories onto the market is on and one of the first from Booq for the iPad 2 is the Booqpad Folio you see here.
This is a really cool accessory that combines the iPad 2 on one side of the case with a normal paper notepad on the other so you can write stuff down. With this thing, you get the digital age, and the analog age in one product. The case is aimed at designers, writers, and other creative types that find paper is sometimes welcome.
The case comes in two versions with a weatherproof version for $49.95 and a luxury version for $99.95. The cases also have a couple slots for business cards. The pad is made so the paper tablet can be slipped in from the top or bottom to accommodate left and right handed users.
The little notebook that the device ships with has 50 sheets of paper. The case can also store a stylus or pen and it has five colors to choose from with white/berry, sand/plum, gray/green, coffee/cream, black/gray. The Coffee/Cream case is made from Nappa leather and the others are made from duotone fabric made with recycled water bottles.
