Parrot by Stark has unveiled a new iPhone and iPod dock called the Zikmu Parrot that looks cool and will work with all dockable iPods. The speakers inside the freestanding towers are Hi-fi making the device deliver high-quality sound. Each speaker offers 360-degree sound that lets you hear perfectly from anywhere in the room. The 360-degree sound means that there are no flat spots around the room where the sound is affected by the speaker placement. Each of the towers has a downward firing subwoofer.

The pair of speakers creates a stereo listening experience and they use DSP technology to tweak the sound for clarity and quality. The speakers create stereo sound and sync to each other using wireless technology so you don’t have to hide wires or run wiring in the room. The wireless tech used for the speakers is Bluetooth A2DP and the speakers have WiFi inside allowing the streaming of music from a computer.

The Zikmu also has an analog hi-fi input that will allow you to connect the device to your CD player or TV. The total power of the speakers is 50W per channel and they use a 3-channel Class D amp. The frequency range is 50Hz - 20Khz. They also have controllable volume, balance, EQ, and they have pre-sets. The RF remote allows you to control the speakers from across the room. Each speaker has to be plugged into the wall.

The maximum wireless range is 50-feet for the speakers. Each of them measures 29.2-inches tall and the base is 12.5" x 11.3" with the top measuring 5" x 1.4". Each speaker weighs 17 pounds. The come in five colors including line, white, grey, black, and red. The big downside is the price, they sell for £999.99.
